Grab life by the ovaries Dawn Bates

“Grab life by the ovaries, get together and create even more greatness in your life!”

Dawn Bates.

2020 has bought with it a new fire.

The fire of the Feminine, not the one which will burn you, but alchemise all the hopes, dreams and desires which have been buried for far too long.

I am not just talking about female empowerment, but the walk which goes with it.

And not so much a sexy strut, but the Goddess Glide as we receive the rewards of the hustle and grind of the past years of hustling like a badass, deeply in the masculine energy rather than the feminine flow of receiving.

It’s a fire deep within the soul.

And a fire burning deep in the womb space; and no, I am not talking about the nasty itch which will have you reaching for the Canesten cream either.

I am talking about the fire of creation with other women.

Of women grabbing life by the ovaries and collaborating to create even more greatness together.

For so many of us, we have been the lone wolf, hustling and working late into the night, burning the candle at both ends, achieving and succeeding, breaking through the doubts and frustrations which long ago held us back.

We’ve inspired change in other women and been excluded by others who are intimidated by us or feel threatened in some way.

There are women out there who are working together and creating greatness, online summits and high energy events, but the lone wolf works alone.  It’s safer that way.  Or is it? And safe from what?

We long to be in that space, but the Alpha, Beta and the Gamma of the entire Greek Goddess alphabet has been the one thing that has held us back.

  • Many other successful women look up to us.
  • They want to live this incredible life we have.
  • We travel here, there and everywhere, living out of a suitcase.
  • And yet they don’t see the amount of alone time we have, which benefits our creativity, but can get lonely sometimes.
  • There is very rarely a man in our space to close the laptop in front of us and encourage us to go to bed, and sleep.  Not make love for hours, but just sleep.

To switch off this amazing mind of never-ending ideas which flow constantly; sometimes even waking us up in the middle of the night, grabbing for our notebook and pen and scribbling the ideas down at break neck speed, ready to wake up in the morning and start creating.

The life of the lone wolf is now becoming tiresome and tedious, and as female leaders we are carefully choosing our own pack to run with.

We’re no longer going to settle for reading the book “Women who run with the wolves” by Dr Clarissa Pinkola, we are fast becoming that woman who leads the pack.

  • It is our duty as female leaders to set a new example and modality, to create new beliefs for the female generations to come, that to be strong doesn’t mean masculine.
  • To be a powerful woman doesn’t mean going it alone.
  • To be successful doesn’t mean being a bitch; or being intimidating.

And this means getting truthful with ourselves, of putting false fears of other women on the fire and burning them to the ground; alchemising them into impact driven, creative collaborations which generate powerful and profound, not forgetting profitable ripple effects out into the world.

It is time to lead on a whole new level, holding space for one another, and rising together; because together we become more than we ever dreamed possible.

So, what can we do?

Here are a few tips I would like to share with you from my own journey.

  1. Reach out to fellow lone wolf women who make your belly laugh and schedule a connection call over a virtual cuppa or a glass of something.
  2. Grab your journal and get present to your intimacy issues because if you don’t have a sisterhood or a man in your life, it isn’t to do with being a badass businesswoman!
  3. Be direct and ask other lone wolves what they are working on and what they are looking to achieve in the next month, quarter and year; and offer referrals, connections.
  4. Ask to partner in collaborations on mutually beneficial goals and start creating together.
  5. Be vulnerable, let your guard down and acknowledge where you are at when it comes to working with other women.
  6. Create a vision of collaboration with 10 carefully chosen women and invite them to take part with you leading the projec.t
  7. Switch off and have a goddess day in a female on space such as a spa, allowing someone else to take care of you for the day.

And remember, a wolf may live by the rules of nature, but a Goddess creates her own rules and glides through life with ease, with other women, for other women.

She serves humanity from a higher space of consciousness, so call in your fellow Goddesses and leave the lone wolf identity behind.

It really isn’t serving you.
